Any reason I shouldn't?
What does one of these, in fair condition, run for these days?

Not unless you're a godless freedom hatin' commie
What does one of these, in fair condition, run for these days?

Seconding Nibbles on "if you have to ask..." These exist in only two conditions - clapped out abomination, and over-"restored" show quality cost-waaaaaay-too-much wallet murderers. One of my favorite cars is also in that paradigm, but it's worth warning you.

Ha! Just asking if they're problematic (other than the normal joys that come with an old car).

If you can afford it, buy the fuck out of it. I have seen fully restored (mint examples) sell between 80 - 100,000

Not a good reason, the Duneloader sadly sucks.

Wheels from an oil rig carrier and wipers from a ocean liner. Every detail is 64 times bigger than the original - so big that there's a house inside it, with the master bedroom in the cab. And yes, it moves.

My grandpa has one, literally the toughest truck I have ever seen. It has been used to pull stumps, straighten a barn, and pull a dock out of 50 feet of water.

Nope. Do it. I know a guy that restores these for a living and DDs a 2002. PWs are his real passion and they are awesome. Here's his website , I recommend checking it out.

My dad bought a B4 in the 60s, drove it across country several times, used it as our woods rig and our firewood getter for years. He eventually welded up a 1/16th inch steel plate body for it to replace the rotted out back end. He then proceeded to use it for another 20 years after that. It had a 4 ton PTO winch on the front of it and I have seen it tied off to a stump dancing on one wheel while pulling logs out of muck, rocks, canyons, hillsides, and anything else mother nature has thrown at it. It has also recovered more four wheel drives in the midst of the woods than I can recall. It was retired 3 years ago, but will live on in my memory.

He's pretty awesome and if you get the PW he can most likely help you every step of the way. He is also a picker, so if you need any part, chances are he's got it or knows where to find it.

I saved his info - hopefully I have a reason to call him at some point in the future!

Yes but that was to be expected. However I was severely disappointed when I discovered that it is useless offroad.

Hahah well in that one you're right

There was only one true 4x4 that i found out in the game, only one that when the wheels spin, the four of them were going. It was the 80's tacoma or tundra looking pickup

Yuo mean the Rebel?
There are much more 4WDs in the game. The Brodozers got patched at some point, most of the SUVs are 4WD/AWD (except the Jeep Wrangler looking thing lol), Bison and Sadler too, some Sedans and sports cars as well. Even the 6x6 actually is 6wd (Just discovered that one today).
![]() 08/21/2014 at 17:54 |

Yes the Rebel
Oh i didnt know about the patch, because def the bro trucks weren't 4x4 at some point.
And yes the 6x6 is the best offroader in my oppoinion, it also lasts very long despite crashing hard like, for example the bro truck locks a wheel very easy if you crash it. And this one is very resistent.

In my oppoinion the SWB Brodozer is the best offroader, best ride height, suspension travel, approach- and departure angles and shit. And for some reason all DLC vehicles are fucking tanks.
